Happy 4th of July!!!!

Red, white, and blue, Happy Fourth of July to YOU! We celebrated by watching fireworks on TV and from the front porch. The front porch display was actually really nice. We got eaten up by bugs, but we still had fun. Cohen loved "firework night" and Evan slept. He CAN NOT miss his 7:00 bed time so we had to stay home. There is always next year.......well, we will have a 1 year old again, so........one day!!!!!

Brotherly Love!

In Just Three Minutes!

In just a matter of three minutes all kinds of things can happen in the Day household!

Cohen was outside playing this morning in a long sleeved shirt (which of course he picked out and put on upon waking up!). He began to get sweaty so when we came in I told him to take his shirt off since it was making him hot. He could put on a short sleeved one when he cooled off. He then decided he wanted to go out back to Evan's new water table. I look out the window and see.......

"COHEN" I holler, "why do you have your clothes off?" "I am hot. ALL. OVER!" While I am helping him get dressed, I hear a loud shriek of happiness. "YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!" I run inside and find Evan digging in the food I have set aside to take to the beach. He has found his puffs, baby food, and oatmeal. The food is now strewn all over the place as Evan loves to destroy stuff!



Then, from across the house, I hear Jeremy holler for a towel from the shower! After the boys are situated and everything calms down, I go in and get Jeremy a towel. While there I decide to go potty. I tee tee and reach for the toilet paper, which is empty of course. I ask Jeremy for some with somewhat of a frustrated "please", he chuckles while reminding me I live with all men now!!

CALGON???????????? Are you there?!?!?!?!

I DO LOVE my life! :)

Evan is 1 YEAR old!!!!

My baby is 1 year old today! He has been such a joy this year! Time has gone by so quickly! Each day I look at him and miss the teeny tiny baby he started out as! Jeremy reminds me that we will have another one soon enough!!!! He still will not take a sippy cup and LOVES LOVES LOVES his bottle. He will not drink anything if I don't give it to him so I keep doing it! We will figure it out later I guess! He has become a bit spoiled which is most definitely my fault. He used to be so good when you would lay him down--he would go right to sleep. I started to rock him a few months back.....just because, and now he wants to be rocked each night before bed. I don't do it for long, just about 5-10 minutes, but he loves it.....and SO DO I! He is just so sweet and cuddly. He makes the perfect rocking chair companion! I am not sure how it will all play out come mid-August and the new baby is here, but once again....we'll cross that bridge when we get there! He is not walking yet and seems perfectly content crawling! He is very fast at it! I am out of breath just chasing him around when he crawls so I know walking will really get me! He and Cohen are still best of friends. They spend most of each day chasing each other, wrestling, fighting over toys and laughing. Evan has developed the cutest little chuckle! He LOVES his brother! He finally has a tooth. Just one little tooth peeking out on the bottom! He can tear up any kind of food I offer him with that one little tooth. His favorite thing right now is for me to brush his teeth (well, tooth). He just grins and laughs the whole time! So cute!!!! He is the 3rd love of my life! My "sweet love!"

Evan's Party

We had fun celebrating Evan's birthday today! He will turn one on Wednesday and I just CAN NOT believe it. They say time flies when you are having fun! I think it should be..."time flies when you are having fun with your kids." Stay tuned for a more detailed post of his "happenings" on Wednesday!!!
