While shopping at Publix I passed a BIG pile of fresh summer corn in the husks! I didn't really think they would like eating it because, afterall it is a vegetable (gasp, how could they possibly eat a veggie), but I thought they would have fun helping me shuck it. After his nap, Evan loved helping. The other boys wouldn't get up to help, but they missed all the fun.
And to my surprise...oh how they all loved eating it. I must admit......it was DELICIOUS! It was our first time cooking it. I smeared olive oil on it, wrapped it in foil, and Jeremy grilled it on the grill. SO YUMMY! We will be doing it again soon, for sure!
