Spring? Is that you?

No, it wasn't Spring, but we acted like it. This past weekend the weather was perfect! 70 degrees in January. I mean really? That's unheard of! But I guess we do live in Georgia!!!

We got outside as soon as we could after breakfast so we didn't miss a second. These boys love to play outside! L.O.V.E. it! Seriously, it is total meltdown mania when it's time to come in.

Even though I knew what was to come when it was time to come back in (crying, hitting, falling in the floor, etc), we ventured outside anyway! We rode bikes, drew with chalk, pushed cars, threw balls and ran in the road. We had a ball soaking up the sun's rays....while they lasted!

We were sad to see the warm weather end, but it gave us a glimpse of what's to come...hopefully soon! We are hopeful that the ol' groundhog will not see his shadow tomorrow so we can have more beautiful days to enjoy together just playin' and laughin'! We miss you Spring!

Bathtime fun!

Snaggle Tooth!

Cohen has had a wiggly tooth for a couple of days. It was the biggest "baby" tooth I have ever seen. The root was soooo long and gross. We have been trying to wiggle it and pull it, but it just wouldn't come out. Well, he lost it during lunch today at school when he bit into a grape! At bed time when we were about to tuck Cohen in we remembered we needed to grab the tooth. But? it was LOST! We lost the lost tooth! But only for a little while! We finally found it in the trash can....Guess who? Yep, Coop. He throws EVERYTHING in the trash can. Luckily, we found and it and all is well. The tooth fairy will be visiting soon!

Talking to Evan....

Me (practicing Evan's "facts"): How old are you?
Evan: Two.
Me: What's your favorite color?
Evan: I not know...I say ello
Me: What's your name?
Evan: Me.

LOL! I thought that was so cute! Wonder when people have to call him something other than "me"!

New camera pics...

Jeremy got me the camera I have been wanting for my birthday. I still have soooo much to learn and plan on taking some classes, but here are a few of the pictures I took with it.

Playing Mr. Potato head with daddy.

Cooper having fun in the playroom.
Sweet Cohen playing with his brothers.
Sweet Evan smiling at breakfast!
My handsome honey who is so sweetly being a guinea pig for all my practicing.

Snow Day #5

YES......I just said SNOW DAY #5! Can you believe we were out of school ALL WEEK? ALL. WEEK. Jeremy was off today. Praise the LORD! I was too nervous to drive on the ice so he finally took us out of the house! We shopped all day and had a blast. We got all the boys new Nikes--they needed some new ones! We got new throw pillows for the family room (who knew those things would cost an arm and a leg!) and some other decorations for the house. We enjoyed an awesome lunch at O'Charley's and took care of some other errands. Once again--the Day family had a fantastic day together!
Before we left we made a "big country breakfast." Whenever Jeremy is home on a weekend morning, the boys love (and yes, well, I love it too) for him to make pancakes, bacon, eggs.....all the works! This morning it felt fitting to make snowman pancakes--in celebration of us getting out of the house for the first time in a week. A. WEEK. Did you hear me? A. WEEK. I mean it was so sad. I felt like I was getting dressed for the prom. I was so excited to "get dressed up!" Here are some pics of our last snow day---hopefully for a very long time!

I thought Coop looked cute sitting on the fireplace!

I was trying to take a picture of the new pillows. Mainly trying to learn how to use my camera's settings--Melissa???? I think I'm gonna need some lessons--a little birdie told me I was getting a new camera for my birthday, so once I do--I'll really get busy!

Anyway...Evan wanted my attention and pitched a fit so I couldn't get a good shot!

These are the pillows on the over-sized chair. We got about 9 more (various patterns and textures) and they look fabulous! I love them!
