Some of you might find this offensive....

.....but in a house full of boys, these conversations occur.

If you are embarrassed or offended by talking about private body parts--stop reading now!

Okay. You were warned. I must continue.....

The other night in the bath tub as I was bathing Cooper I looked at Evan and he was starring at me wide eyed. He said, "oh my goodness, mama, it's falling out."

You see? They take a bath together (for my sanity) and he was starring and pointing at Cooper's tee tee.

I said "No it's not. It's just fine." And I continued to wash Coop. We talk about tee tee's alot. A. LOT. So it's no big deal anymore to have a random conversation about them.

This time was a little different.

Evan said, "No, mama! Look! Down dare. What is dat? It's fallin' out. See?"

Me: "Oh, that's just his testicles. That's where they are. They are down there. It's fine."

Evan: "Oh, do I have vegetables too?"

Me: "Yes, you have testicles, too. All boys do."

Evan: Rubbing his head with worry. "Oh no! Are my vegetables gonna fall out too?"

Wednesday's Words

Here are a few recent quotes from the Day house....

1. Jeremy did something nice at the dinner table (I can't recall what!) and I said "well, you get brownie points for that." Cohen quickly asked, "how many points do you need for a brownie?"

2. Cohen said "Mama, I know how to spell Gatorade. G.A.T.O.R.H.A.T.E. All this time he thought he was drinking Gatorhate! That's a proud day for a Georgia Bulldog Mama!!!

3. Evan--"Mama, where's my butter?" Me--"I don't know baby. Maybe it's in your kitchen." Evan (getting a little frustrated)--"No, my butter!". Me--" I don't know where your butter is." Evan (stomping)--"NO! WHERE. MY. BUTTER?." Me (handing him his play stick of butter)--"Here." Evan (throwing it down)--"NOT. DIS. Where my butter, you know....my Cohen?!"

4. Cooper--"Mommy, I love you to the moon and back!"

Trunk or Treat (before actual Halloween)

Christy and Randall invited us to trick-or-treat at the hospital. Of course, I was a little skeptical at first given my fear of germs and all! But luckily, no germs were present and it took place in the nice fresh air of outside!

And boy was it FUN. And boy was there lots of CANDY.

The boys had a BLAST and got a LOAD of candy!

We will definitely check it out next year!

Thanks Bobby and Christy for the invite.

The Christmas Story

For a few weeks now, it seems we have been living in a real life version of The Christmas Story--you know...the movie they play 100 times in December?

And here's why......

1. Cohen ordered that spy pen weeks ago and has been waiting and waiting for it to arrive. He checks the mail EVERYDAY. EVERY. DAY. to see if it's here. It never is. I feel like I live with the kid from The Christmas Story...I don't know his name....the one that is waiting on the secret decoder!?!?!

2. The boys want Ovaltine every night in their milk......you get it? Remember the secret code on the boys decoder when it finally arrived was "drink more Ovaltine"??

3. Cooper eats like a little piggy just like the kid brother in the movie! I mean head down, mouth in plate, and food flying everywhere!

4. Then today....to top it ALL off! I got all my fingers super glued together....and I felt like the kid with his tongue stuck to the frozen pole! (Why did I need super glue you ask? One word......EVAN!)

I guess I should say.....Merry Christmas!

I'm just waiting for a package to show up at our door with a tall leg lamp in it!!!!!

My Favorite Sayings At The Moment

Cohen:
---When we're doing something he likes "Oh yea, this is the life!" With hands propped behind his head.
---As Evan is hitting him with a stick "Mama, can you please tell the kid I am NOT a pinata!"

Evan:
---Copying Toy Story 3 (about 100 times a day) "Andy, Andy, Andy, that's all you ever talk about." Then smiles and nudges Cohen to do it! "Ooo do it, Bubba" They laugh and laugh!
---Counting "One, two, three, one"
---After you tell him you love him he says "Dis much" and spreads his arms really big.

Cooper:
---After tasting something he loves "Yuck" (I think he's got this one confused!)
---When you tell him to call Evan "Tum ear Er"
