Typical Evan
Drving home today I heard Evan holler a really loud, weird cry. I turned around to see what could possibly cause such a scream.....AND COULD NOT believe what I saw! He had his finger in his nose! I mean ALL. THE. WAY in his nose. It was up to his second knuckle. I had to pull over on the side of the road and pull his finger out!!! Man, that boy keeps me on my toes!
Sweetest Boy!
Evan fell today and bumped his face on a toy. Cohen went to check on him like he always does. He was fine of course. Cohen laid his head down on my lap and said, "my heart hurts". I got scared and said "what, why?" and he answered," I just hate when my little brothers get hurt and it hurts my heart!" SOOO SWEET!

Oohhhh, my beloved blog how I have missed you!!
Well....I'm back!! It has been too long and oh how I missed writing down all the wonderful happenings with these boys!!! I have lots of catching up to do....
Cooper is 1 month old!!! Born August 20 at 7:42 am. He made his appearance rather quickly-only about 3 hours after arriving at the hospital. It would have been about 1 hour had he not gotten stuck! To make a long story short and spare the yucky details--he was upside down and had to be helped out (A LOT)! I was glad for the delay because otherwise the epidural would not have had time to work!!!!He is still not doing too much--eating, pooping, and crying. BUT.... he has been smiling which makes the long nights worth it! The smiles are accidental of course, but they still melt my heart!!!
Evan is upright and mobile!!!!! He is walking everywhere! He looks like Charlie Chaplin holding his arms up for balance! He just laughs at himself because he can not believe he is doing it! It only took him 15 months! Actually, he took his first step on August 21st, the day we brought Cooper home, but didn't start really walking until September 17th!! We are so proud! Now, it gives me more to do! I hold Cooper and chase Evan and Cohen around the house! It is crazy I tell you! Fun, but CRAZY!!
Cohen is still his silly self. He has been out of school for 2 weeks so he is getting cabin fever with all this rain and ready to return to school with his friends!! He did have his 5th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and had a blast! I always like to do parties at home so I can be in charge, but I have to admit that it was nice not to have to clean up before or after the party!
As for me...I am just trying to keep everyone well and not get the flu! It seems to be going around like crazy and it scares me with the baby! We are all going to get our flu shots for the first time. That makes me nervous too! I hate getting the boys extra "medicine" if they don't need it! Darned if you do, and darned if you don't, you know???
Well, check back often and hopefully I can catch up soon!!

Our Favorite Evan Face
We love this face Evan makes when he is about to do something that is a "no no!" I finally got it on camera. He is such a mess. Here he is trying to pull the drain in the tub which is his new favorite naughty thing to do. He thinks it is so funny to pull it and watch me struggle to get up before all the water runs out!
