Cohen's First Day of 2nd Grade!

The back to school fairy came and left Cohen a few treats!

School supplies......
 Ice-cream money....

 Candy!
Eating a good, hearty breakfast of oatmeal to get the day started right!

My big 2nd grader! I CAN. NOT. even believe he is in 2nd grade. Seem like just yesterday I was rocking him as a baby. Time sure does fly when they are growing up!

 Me and my big boy!

Flowers for his teacher. They were actually dry erase markers made to look like flowers!

 Cohen's teacher, Mrs. Campbell!

Family Fun Days

Legoland

Fernbank

Storms

It all started July 4th when we took Coop to see the fireworks....Now, he WILL NOT sleep. He is scared to death of the dark and the storms we have each night scare him to death. I'm talking literally shaking scared. Of course since he is our "angel baby" and is the sweetest thing ever (when he's not acting 3 years old) we try to cater to what he wants. Sometimes he wants to cuddle. Sometimes he wants the door open with all the lights on. Tonight he wanted to lay on the couch and "look at me". I hope this phase passes....SOON.

Flashback Friday

These were taken back before Christmas. They just crack me up! Evan is so silly.

Zoo

Pictures from our zoo trip a couple weeks back!

Brave

We took Cohen and Evan to see the movie Brave the other day. We made a little date out of it. We had lunch at Arby's and headed to the movies afterwards. When we arrived we found out the movie was sold out! WHAT? How weird for a Sunday afternoon. I guess our idea wasn't so original! The boys were devastated! So, we had to pay extra and see the next showing which was 3D. FIFTY DOLLARS later, YES.....5-0, we saw Brave in 3D! The smiles on the boys faces were worth it. I guess? And the movie was really cute!

Nap time fun for the big boys

Cooper took an extra long nap yesterday so we decided to have some artsy-science fun! We dropped colored vinegar into baking soda and watched the colorful explosions! The boys loved it and it kept them busy for an hour! We will definitely be doing this again!

What priceless smiles for cheap fun!

Cohen kept his explosions neatly spaced and watched the colors mix.
Evan liked to make big explosions!
